Try entering the phone number as the WPA password.
They didn’t even change the default admin password from the Rogers one.

Assuming it shipped that way, thats terrible security on Rogers behalf. Shame on them.
I have the same modem on Shaw. The default password is 12 alphanumeric characters, and is most certainly not a phone number.
I also changed it immediately upon initial setup. According to grc research it would take over a trillion years to brute force.
And I continually can pull 180Mbps+ on my 150Mbps package. Just sayin.
You should help them out by completely reconfiguring their router and securing it properly. Good deeds and whatnot.

Nah, phone numbers just turn out to be common Wi-Fi passwords. Probably started out when early WEP keys are 10-hex, and conveniently phone numbers are 10 numerals.
I haven’t configured a Rogers router for a while, but I think they do ask you to change the password, but of course almost every tech and user will just skip that.
